Le Rogge Residence
The approved building complex, built between 2004 and 2006, is made up of 14 terraced houses and a block of 14 apartments, all of which are surrounded by a new large green area.
Subsequently, in the years 2006 to 2008, the last two houses were completed, one suitable for a single family and the other for two families, thus completing the housing project. There is a football pitch, validated to A7 championship standard, next to the apartment block. The Le Rogge Residence stands on a square, inaugurated in October 2008, and comprises two buildings of about 1500sqm for commercial use, including a surgery and a large hall which can be used as a library or for local meetings.
The Villamaggiore Village
The Villamaggiore Village is the result of a conservative architectural salvage project involving the old rural village dating from the early 1900s, next to the Parco Agricolo Sud Milano, a short distance from the natural oasis of Lacchiarella and less than twenty kilometres from the center of Milan.
The project for the new village foresees the complete reconstruction of the old country houses, farmsteads and farmers’ dwellings, conserving typical period features. All the houses are finished to a very high standard, each with access to open spaces, verandas, gardens, parks, parking and a porter’s lodge.
The Villamaggiore Village is well connected both with Milan and Pavia, due to the railway line situated a few hundred meters form the village. The construction of commercial sites within the village is also envisaged.
Progress report as at July 2011:
Eighty eight apartments were completed by the end of 2010. The remaining 47 will be built over the next three years, in line with new bookings, so as to allow time to personalize the apartments.
